97.1 The Ticket -- Bleacher Report's latest episode of its animated web series "Gridiron Heights" is making the rounds among Lions fans.

Playing off the recent release of the "Joker" movie (a look at the origins of the villain from the "Batman" series), Bleacher Report decided to take a jab at the Lions and quarterback Matthew Stafford, casting him as the clown character.

The minute-long video moves from joke to joke, ripping the Lions all along the way, using portrayals of NFC North rivals to fuel the fire. From the "Pad Statford" quip, to a jab at Calvin Johnson and Barry Sanders' early retirements, and of course a shot Lions fans for being excited they "almost beat the Chiefs," the video culminates with Stafford saying "I used to think the Lions were a tragedy, but now I realize they're a comedy."

The "Gridiron Heights" videos often play off of TV shows and movies, similar to their NBA version, "Game of Zones."

Lions running back Kerryon Johnson -- like many on Twitter -- didn't find the video very funny.

What did you think -- was the video funny? Unnecessary? Extra fuel for the Lions?
