The 2019 Detroit Tigers season is fast approaching.

Before you know it, it'll be Thursday, April 4 and the Detroit Tigers will be hosting the Kansas City Royals for the 2019 home opener.

Detroit isn't expected to compete for the Central Division this season, which might keep some people from Comerica Park.

If you are looking for a cheaper option to see the boys of summer, the Tigers have you covered.

They are offering a "digital ballpark pass" for this season.

When selecting your pass here is how you receieve your tickets.

Text alerts are sent to purchasers approximately 2hrs prior to each game after specific seat locations have been assigned within the MLB Ballpark App. Upper Level, Lower Level and Preferred Lower Level options will receive this text.

You must opt-in to receiving these text notifications. You must register your mobile phone number within the MLB Ballpark App to ensure your Digital Ballpark Pass seat locations are assigned. Visit for more details.

Unused Digital Ballpark Pass tickets are not exchangeable. Digital Ballpark Pass tickets may not be resold or forwarded.

This is a really cool option for the 2019 season!
