Why are they going crazy?

Mike Stoney of 97.1 The Ticket's Jamie & Stoney show said he was "taken aback" by the criticism faced by the University of Michigan football team after the way they celebrated victory over Army this weekend. What seemed like a sure win turned into a bit of a knuckle biter ... and some felt the "we're the victors" tone of the celebration afterward was inappropriate.

The game ended on a fumble, Stoney pointed out.

But he didn't understand all the criticism on social media for the way the team celebrated.

"On the radio broadcast, Jim and Dan were kind of wondering if ... They kind of looked at the play to make sure it actually had been a fumble and recovered by Michigan. There was some concern that Michigan was celebrating too soon," co-host Jamie Samuelsen pointed out. He added that during a later game, Kirk Herbstreit said "they kind of overcelebrated there."

On one side, the players are teenagers and people in their early 20s, so it could have just been a surge of adrenaline, Samuelsen said, adding he thought the way they celebrated was fine.

What do you think, over the line or appropriate revelry?
