Fans Disapprove Of MSU Football's New Neon Green Alternate Uniform [PHOTOS]

What do you think of all that bright green?

EAST LANSING, Mich. (97.1 The Ticket) -- Michigan State's Spring Game on Saturday afternoon gave fans a look at the Spartans on the field, but fans also got a look at a new alternate uniform the team rolled out Saturday afternoon.

And for some, they couldn't look away soon enough.

The new threads feature blinding neon green letters and pants, and "STATE" in massive letters across the chest that are cut off on the ends.

Alternate uniforms are definitely a good way to generate buzz among fans and can be a solid recruiting tool. When done right, a nice alternate uniform can go a long way. That is not the case with this new look.

MSU's basketball team has dabbled with neon green before, including full-on neon uniforms and black uniforms with neon accents. Both were decently well-received by fans.

This football uniform, though? Not so much.

Many tweeters made some hilarious comparisons.

Of course, fans were quick to point out that the photos of the new uniform feature Seattle Seahawks gloves.

Michigan's Devin Bush, who was involved in a pre-game scuffle at Spartan Stadium last fall and stomped on the Spartan logo at midfield, had some words on the new uniform.

Where do these uniforms rank among the worst alternate threads in all of sports?
