97.1 The Ticket -- Former Lions wide receiver Golden Tate just got a big payday.

Tate, who spent the latter part of last season in Philadelphia after the Lions traded him to the Eagles in October, is reportedly signing a four-year, $37.5 million deal with the New York Giants.

Tate celebrated by recreating Cuba Gooding Jr.'s famous scene from the sports agent movie "Jerry Maguire."

Tate also promptly celebrated his new deal with a flurry of tweets, showing his love for his new city and pondering a possible acting career.

Tate spent five seasons with the Lions, recording 4,741 receiving yards on 416 catches and 22 touchdowns. He had a massive late TD catch in the Eagles' Wild Card round win over the Chicago Bears last fall.

There's no telling how Tate will fare with his new team, but for now, he's just happy to get paid.
