The Lions drafted Jarrad Davis 21st overall in 2017, but the linebacker hasn't met expectations through three seasons.

Looks like he wants to change that.

Davis has been training at Michigan Elite Conditioning this offseason, and his body transformation is something to behold.

He's added over 20 pounds of muscle, while dropping his body fat by more than five percent, according to the gym's Instagram account. He's also increased his bench press by about 75 pounds.

The secret?

A better diet (see below), and a hungry individual. Davis knows he's playing for his future with the Lions in 2020.

Jarrad Davis - Detroit Lions middle linebacker came looking to correct some structural issues that was hindering his play. Fast forward a year and he has completely overhauled his body. He came in weight 227 pounds at 14 percent bf and is now weight 248 pounds at 9.8 percent bf. His bench press was 297 on his initial assessment and currently he is pressing 375. He still has 2 more months before the NFL season - who’s ready for some football!!!!! The program design was simplistic but effective. He dialed in his nutriton this year and is ready to roll. #mecastrong #detroitlions @jarradcdavis @detroitlionsnfl @stew_chainzz @coach_david_lawrence_ @mecanutrition
