Many are waiting for 97.1 The Ticket host MikeValenti's reaction to the NFL draft pulled by his lifetime favorite team, the New York Giants.

The fiery Valenti show host gave us a preview when he had a chat with 97.1 The Ticket sportswriter Will Burchfield, who is a fellow fan from the east coast.

Valenti told him this:

"I will find a way to tolerate everything else as long as the Giants do not take Daniel Jones at No. 6 overall."

But then his team, well they selected Duke quarterback Daniel Jones as their sixth pick in Thursday's NFL draft. And the sports-loving world waits for 2 p.m. to hear Valenti's reaction... Though he did promise he may be too upset to go on-air.

Here's how he said he would react: "That is the punting of the remote control. That is my doomsday scenario. Getelman, from a fan perspective is a dead man. From a fan perspective, he will be public enemy number one. Here's the other thing and it's the unfair part. It will be terribly unfair to Daniel Jones. The kid didn't do anything wrong except show up at the draft. It's not his fault the Giants tok him at six. It'll be Dave Brown 2.0... Nobody wants him there. It's terribly unfair to the kid.

"If that happens, you guys better coordinate who's here tomorrow."
