Dixon, a product of Mater Dei HS in California, chose Michigan over the likes of LSU, Auburn, Notre Dame and nearby USC.

"It’s been a crazy ride full of ups and downs, but this is only the beginning," Dixon said in a commitment video posted on Twitter. "I promise this will not be the last time you’ll be hearing from me. My name will be known and I will be felt. Remember, Rome was not built in a day.

"With that being said, I will be attending the University of Michigan. Go Blue."

Shortly thereafter, Dixon pronounced that Michigan "got the biggest steal in the 2021 class." He's ranked No. 38 among wide receivers and No. 210 overall in his class, according to 247 Sports

Michigan's 2021 class, headlined by five-star QB J.J. McCarthy, ranks No. 6 in the country and No. 2 in the Big Ten.
