Report: Pistons Interested In Kiki VanDeWeghe, Trajan Langdon And Others To Run Basketball Operations

Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores decided to move on from Stan Van Gundy and now it appears the team is looking at some big names to run their basketball operations.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com, the Pistons are looking at Kiki VanDeWeghe and Trajan Langdon.

"Sources: Among candidates that Detroit is showing interest to run its basketball operations: NBA’s Kiki VanDeWeghe, Memphis’ Ed Stefanski, Houston’s Gersson Rosas, Brooklyn’s Trajan Langdon. Brent Barry and Miami’s Shane Battier have been targeted for roles in front office too," Wojnarowski tweeted.

VanDeWaghe is currently the Vice President, Basketball Operations of the National Basketball Association, Stefanski is the vice-president of player personnel for the Memphis Grizzlies. Gersson Rosas is currently the Rocket executive vice president has been linked to the Charlotte Hornets and Trajan Langdon is an advanced scout for the San Antonio Spurs. 

Wojnarowski then tweeted that current GM Jeff Bower "remains a candidate to ascend to top basketball decision-maker with Pistons too, league sources tell ESPN."
