97.1 The Ticket -- First year head coach Juwan Howard has reportedly offered another scholarship to a class of 2020 prospect, though this one probably means the most.

Reports say Michigan has extended an offer to Howard's son, Jace Howard.

The 6-foot-7, 200-lb. small forward unranked by recruiting sites Rivals and 247 Sports, but is rated as a 3-star prospect.

Howard, who has also received offers from Brown, St. Louis, Northern Illinois and Dayton, averaged 6.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game this summer playing on the Nike EYBL circuit with the Mac Irvin Fire. While not considered an elite prospect, many have speculated that Howard could be an additional recruiting tool for his father, as he is friends with many prospects on the circuit.

Michigan has already offered the likes of 4-stars Ethan Morton (committed to Purdue), Jabri Abdur-Rahim (committed to Virginia), 5-star target Joshua Christopher and others, according to 247. Michigan's lone committment thus far in the 2020 class comes from Zeb Jackson, a 4-star shooting guard out of Maumee, Ohio.

Howard took the job at his alma mater in May after long-time coach John Beilein left for the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.
