WATCH: White Sox Turn Smooth Triple Play Against Astros

They made that look easy.

HOUSTON (97.1 The Ticket) -- The White Sox delivered the league's first triple play of 2019 on Wednesday night in smooth fashion.

The Astros were threatening in the third inning, with two on and nobody out when the Sox turned a beauty of a triple play.

It was Chicago's first triple play since 2016, a year when they turned three -- which was more than the league total of just two in 2018.

The White Sox dropped the first two of their four-game set in Houston. Justin Verlander took a no-hit bid into the seventh inning on Tuesday before Jose Abreu broke it up with a monster solo home run.
