SCHOOLCRAFT, Mich. (97.1 The Ticket) -- Records are meant to be broken.

Schoolcraft High School running back Kobe Clark took that saying to heart. Clark, a junior at the Division 6 school, scored nine rushing touchdowns Friday night as his Eagles beat previously unbeaten rival Constantine High School 63-27.

Clark scored all nine touchdowns for the Eagles, who are 5-1 on the season. He finished with 398 yards on the ground, just two yards shy of becoming the 26th player in state history to eclipse the 400-yard mark.

Clark surpassed the previous record of eight rushing touchdowns, which was set by Mike Golden of Frankenmuth High School in 2005.

Nine other players have racked up seven touchdowns in a game, most recently by Holt High School's Trent Stone in 2014.
