Uh oh. The NFL made an oopsie. In the "Top Ten plays at the midway point of 2019 season" for the Detroit Lions, they included one catch that wasn't a catch. Quarterback Matthew Stafford's toss to wide receiver Kenny Golladay was ruled a catch but overturned after review. It's automatic on every scoring play now. The Lions would go on to lose that game vs the Chiefs in week 4

This isn't about the state of NFL officiating or whether this was a catch or not. It's about making a mistake and having a little understanding. We're all human. I mean the World Series flasher was kind of distracting yesterday.

We can all agree that it was a really good catch. Kenny Golladay is a beast and with the departure of Calvin Johnson, he's our next great hope.

Thanks to the Detroit Lions Reddit community for spotting this mixup. They're the best sub in the league!

Creating quality content is hard. The NFL made an attempt but fell short. Also, Stafford threading the needle at number 7 is a crime. It should be number one all day.
